Hi Barbara, good question!

I know that it says 0 on the nutrition facts. The only problem lies in the fact that if you begin using this spray, it actually does add calories, fat and more to your vegetables. I'm not sure how much you would be using in a serving or throughout an entire day/week. That is why I always suggest to my dieters to stay away from anything that is not on the approved list of foods to eat.

My best advice is to use a healthy oil listed as an approved oil to cook your veggies in, as well as different seasonings that you can add to spice them up or give them different flavors. We offer Gator Garlic and Sugarless Rub on our site that you can use on your proteins and veggies to add some fantastic flavor without adding fat and calories.

Read my article about Reading Nutrition Labels. According to FDA guidelines, if there is under a certain amount (such as <0.4 grams) of an ingredient, it can be listed as 0 (zero!) on the label. This can be misleading since many people will take that as carte blanche to use as much of that food as they like, since it says "0" on the label!
