Hi Cheryl,

Getting in eight 8 ounce glasses (64 oz.) of water in a day is extremely important! Water aids in every bodily function and will help you to flush out toxins as well as excess sugar.

If you are having trouble remembering to drink your water, then try to keep a refillable water bottle with you at all times. Find out how many ounces it can hold and then just keep track of how many times you refill it in a day. It may also help some people to buy a large jug that can hold an entire 64 oz., such as a 2-liter bottle or a large pitcher, and be sure to drink the entire container each day.

If you are having trouble because you get bored with water or do not necessarily like the flavor, then try to mix it up by infusing it with certain herbs or veggies. Use things such as cucumber, lemon, lime, basil, mint, etc. Stay away from adding fruit because this will add sugar.
