Hi Nadia,
I just went to a BBQ this weekend and I brought an entire meal with me that was Step One approved. I made a larger quantity so I could share it for one and two I could trick people into trying something healthy.
I marinaded my own chicken breasts with Walden Farms Honey BBQ sauce to bring so that my friend could throw it on the grill for me.
Then I made home made mock potato salad from the ITG Diet website link to recipe here www.itgdiet.com/recipes/steps-1-3/recipe/51-not-potato-salad
I also brought a a huge chopped salad with a ton of approved veggies like cut up red and yellow bell peppers, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, raw onions, fresh basil and fresh spinach mixed with romaine lettuce.(I used Walden Farms Italian Dressing and salt and pepper)
WELL I must say everyone loved all my food more than the unhealthy food that was there!
