  • 1 Can Tuna in Water
  • 1 Whole Egg
  • 0.25 cup(s) Onion diced (if carmelizing Step 3)
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Minced Garlic
  • 0.75 teaspoon(s) Sea Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon(s) Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Sesame or Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon(s) ITG Plain Pancake Mix (or Coconut Flour in Step 3)

Tuna Patties Directions

  1. Open the tuna can and drain all the oil and excess liquid (squeeze the liquid out, if needed!) and put it in a big bowl.
  2. Mix the tuna, garlic, salt, pepper, egg, coconut flour (step 3 only) use ITG Plain Pancake mix during Steps 1-2, and sesame oil together in the bowl.
  3. Heat a frying pan with olive or sesame oil - make sure the oil is well spread!
  4. With a spoon, scoop up the mixture and gently place it on the frying pan and shape it into round, flat patties.
  5. After a couple of minutes, check if the patties are golden brown and flip to make them golden brown on both sides. Enjoy!
