prepping-diet-mealLet’s face it we all know ourselves better than anyone else.  I know my #1 excuse for cheating will be time.  I can almost hear myself now…”I got home from work too late to cook my chicken breast, I’ll hit the nearest drive thru.” Or here’s a good one…”I’m so hungry, I’ll be sick if I don’t eat something right away.”  As much as I am my biggest enemy, I am also my biggest fan.  If anyone can outwit me it’s me.

 

Here’s my plan to succeed on ITG Diet!

I went shopping on the Saturday before my Monday start date, for all my favorite veggies at the local produce stand.  Sunday after church I stopped by local grocery store to purchase my lean protein.  Then I spent the afternoon prepping my veggies and cooking the protein.  I measured 2 cups of veggies in Ziploc bags. I baked some chicken breast and cut up into individual servings and also placed into a Ziploc bag to be frozen.  I also hard boiled some eggs to keep on hand to break in case of emergency (if I need something quick and easy) LOL. 

When reviewing the ITG Diet with my BFF diet buddy she had lots of questions and concerns.  She is a realtor and works out of her car a lot; she doesn’t always have an office situation for lunch.  That’s when the Survival Box came to mind.  I told her if she followed the ITG Diet and was still hungry go to her Survival Box for comfort.  She is allowed to eat anything in her Survival Box.  Yep, I even packed my diet buddies Survival Box for her.  I told you I was going to be the best diet buddy ever.
