ITG Recipes for Steps 1-3

Feel free to enjoy the recipes here that can be used on the ITG Diet Plan.  One of our coaches has looked at, approved and most of the time has cooked the recipes we are sharing here.  We did not invent all of these recipes and will try to credit the author when provided.  Plan accordingly depending on the step of the plan you are on.  If you have a recipe you would like to share please send it to us!

Baby Bella Pizza Bites

For All Stages of the ITG Diet Plan



For 4 people ()


  • 12 Baby Bella Mushrooms
  • 0.5 pound(s) Italian Chicken or Turkey Sausage
  • 1 Egg White
  • 0.5 cup(s) Walden Tomato Basil Sauce or Sugar Free Marinara

Baby Bella Pizza Bites Directions

  1. Turn on your grill.
  2. Wipe down your mushrooms, remove stems and place them stem side up on a plate.
  3. Add Italian chicken sausage in a bowl along with your egg white. Use your hands to combine it all together.
  4. Then make tablespoon size balls of the meat mixture and plop them into the cap of the mushrooms.
  5. Place on top rack of grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until sausage is cooked through.
  6. Top each mushroom and sausage cap with either hot or cold pizza/marinara sauce!
  7. Stick a toothpick in it and EAT IT.
