ITG Recipes for Steps 1-3

Feel free to enjoy the recipes here that can be used on the ITG Diet Plan.  One of our coaches has looked at, approved and most of the time has cooked the recipes we are sharing here.  We did not invent all of these recipes and will try to credit the author when provided.  Plan accordingly depending on the step of the plan you are on.  If you have a recipe you would like to share please send it to us!

Fresca Chicken

For All Stages of the ITG Diet Plan



For 4 people ()


  • 0.25 teaspoon(s) Cumin
  • 2 pound(s) Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon(s) Pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon(s) Garlic Powder
  • 1 cup(s) Cilantro
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Jalapeno Peppers
  • 2 Limes (Juiced)
  • 3 Medium Tomatoes

Fresca Chicken Directions

  1. Preheat over to 375 F.
  2. Place chicken in a large baking dish and sprinkle evenly with cumin, garlic, salt and pepper.
  3. Finely chop ingredients for Pico de Gallo, cilantro, garlic cloves, jalapenos (remove seeds), and tomatoes. Mix in a bowl and add lime zest and lime juice.
  4. Cover chicken in Pico de Gallo mix.
  5. Bake on middle rack for 35-45 mins or until chicken is cooked.
  6. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with your favorite side dish. (Pictured is Cilantro Lime Cauliflower Rice.)
