ITG Recipes for Steps 1-3

Feel free to enjoy the recipes here that can be used on the ITG Diet Plan.  One of our coaches has looked at, approved and most of the time has cooked the recipes we are sharing here.  We did not invent all of these recipes and will try to credit the author when provided.  Plan accordingly depending on the step of the plan you are on.  If you have a recipe you would like to share please send it to us!

Creamy Tomato Pasta

For All Stages of the ITG Diet Plan



For 1 people ()


  • Package ITG Pasta
  • 2 fl. oz. Skim Milk
  • 0.25 cup(s) Tomato, small dice
  • 1 Green Onion, chopped
  • 4 Asparagus, chopped
  • 0.5 cup(s) Spinach
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Old Bay
  • 0.5 teaspoon(s) Cumin
  • 0.13 teaspoon(s) Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Olive Oil, as needed

Creamy Tomato Pasta Directions

  1. Begin boiling water on stove for pasta. Meanwhile gather your other ingredients and start chopping your vegetables. Remove stems from spinach, chop tomato, green onion, and asparagus.
  2. Cook pasta 5-10 minutes depending on how firm you would like the pasta.
  3. In a saute pan add your oil. Set stove to medium heat. Add your chopped vegetables and cook 3-4 minutes until asparagus is a bright green.
  4. Reduce heat to low, and add your skim milk to your saute pan with your vegetables in. Cook until milk is heated/warm. Make sure you do not boil your milk. 
  5. Add pasta to the saute pan, along with your seasonings and enjoy!
